The Coordinating Center is responsible for the development, administration, and evaluation of the national HPEER curriculum. Delivered weekly in 1-hour didactics via Zoom, this national curriculum modular in design and is competency based.

The Course Design Module provides content on learner centric instructional designs and innovative curriculum delivery. Modalities of Learning, such as face-to-face, virtual, simulation, and hybrid are addressed.

The Assessing Learners module provides an overview of assessment strategies, their associated strengths and weaknesses, and information about formal and informal assessment of learners’ knowledge acquisition and application.

The Program Evaluation Module provides an overview on the different methods of collecting, analyzing, and using data to examine the effectiveness and efficiency of programs and how evaluation contributes to continuous program improvement and program development.

The Interprofessional Health Professions Training Module gives an overview of Interprofessional Education (IPE) and provides frameworks for decreasing siloed education/professional approaches; and increasing interprofessional collaboration, teamwork, communication, and intercultural intelligence.
