National Conference

The National HPEER Advanced Fellowship hosted its inaugural in-person HPEER conference in August of 2023 in Chicago, Illinois. Fellows and faculty took part in a scholarly writing workshop, an instructional simulation on scale development, curriculum design and evaluation, teambuilding exercises, and important inter-site networking and collaboration. 2023’s national conference also had the pleasure of joining select sessions with a concurrently run VA conference for all Designated Education Officers within the VA. This partnership between similar arms of education within the VA allowed fellows to enhance their knowledge of VA processes and network with accomplished health professions educators within the VA.
